Why yes, I am a thinking, rational human being.

Of course I’m not homophobic.

I’m really looking forward to the day when asking if someone is homophobic is equivalent to asking someone if they’re an axe-murderer: something one does only as a silly joke (or a gigglesome meme), not because there’s any need for the general population to prove that they’ve evolved beyond this particular bit of asshattery, because (random and rare psycho aside) of course people aren’t axe-murderers.

Until then, we shall all meme away. And work and hope for the day when homophobia is nothing but a bad dream.

Yup. Pretty much as I expected.

Unless I’m blogging (or reblogging) an interesting/cute/OMG picture or a political trope, as far as Tumblr is concerned, I am posting in a complete and utter vacuum.  Pretty much nothing I text post (except reblogs) gets responses.

I’m beginning to suspect Tumblr is a cool-kids only venue, where unless you already know a bunch of folks, starting (or joining) conversations in a meaningful way (i.e., getting responses) is very difficult.

I need to think about this.

Silly and fluffy fics?

Argh. I’ve got a leg cramp trying to happen, and I want something to distract myself with. I’d love to read some ACD- or Sherlock-based ficlets, preferably something silly or fluffy or sweet, but really, anything so long as it’s relatively short and doesn’t require too many brain cells to follow. 

Anyone have any particular recs, and/or want to make my night by writing me a quick Tumblr-fic?
